Legends and schedules are one of those view types in Revit that can be placed on multiple sheets, however, it is not a one comment process to copy to multiple sheets. So here we have a single application to perform copying legends and schedules to multiple drawing sheets where the views appear in the same location on each sheet.

To use the plugin, the active should be a Drawing Sheet.

This plugin has two steps process to follow, the first part you select the new “View Port” position and continue to the second part, where you make a selection of Drawing sheets and Legend or Schedule views.

Part 1

Here you have three options to select the position of the new view –

• “Pick a Point..” – PICK a POINT on the drawing sheet where the view has to be placed.
• “Select a Viewport..” – SELECT an EXISTING VIEWPORT on the sheet.
• “Manual input..” – inputs the X and Y direction values to where the views have to be placed.

Based on the selection the location for new viewport position, reverent to that sheet will be saved.

Part 2

Now launches the “Drawing Sheet and Legend | Schedule Selection Form”.

On the left-hand side, under the “Drawing Sheets” section will be given a list of all the drawing sheets from the current project, where you can select one or multiple drawing sheet(s) where the legend or schedule view has to be placed using the “check box”.

On the right-hand side, under the “Legend and Schedule Views” section will be given a list of all the legend views and schedule views from the current project, where you can select one view (legend or schedule) to be copied to the above-selected drawing sheet(s).

Click Ok button, will copy the selected view (legend or schedule) to all the selected drawing sheets at the new viewport position saved from your selection, maintaining the same viewport location for all the selected drawing sheet.
